Manga Translator
Upload a manga page and get an English version with speech bubbles, sound effects and panel layout preserved. Defaults to Japanese → English; 55 languages supported.
Translate nowA manga translator rewrites the text inside manga pages, panels and webtoon strips into English while keeping the art untouched. Upload a page — a scan, a digital release screenshot or even photos of a physical volume — and the model finds every speech bubble, caption box and sound-effect burst, translates the Japanese text, and re-renders it in place: bubbles stay bubbles, SFX stay explosive, panel borders stay intact. It defaults to Japanese → English (the classic raw-manga use case) but accepts any of 55 source languages, including Korean manhwa and Chinese manhua. For scanlation readers, webtoon fans and raw-chapter hunters, it is the fastest way from 'I cannot read this' to 'what happens next'.
- 1Read raw chapters the day they drop — no waiting for official translations or scanlation teams.
- 2Panel-preserving: speech bubbles are rewritten inside their own shapes, so page flow and reading order stay natural.
- 3Sound effects get translated too — the 'GOGOGO' and 'DOOOON' are part of the story, and the model treats them as such.
- 4Not just Japanese: Korean manhwa and Chinese manhua translate the same way; any of 55 languages works as source.
- 5Free daily quota: register free and translate pages every day at no cost, watermark-free.
- 6Clean output: results download as full images — save them to your library or share with your reading group.
Good to know
- Manga text mixes three register types — dialogue bubbles, narrative captions and onomatopoeic SFX — each handled with its own translation strategy.
- Vertical Japanese text (tategaki), the standard in manga, is detected natively; no need to pre-process the page.
- Korean manhwa and Chinese manhua use the same pipeline — switch the source language or leave it on auto.
Three steps to a translated image
Upload the page
Upload a scan, digital screenshot or photo of the physical page. One page (or one webtoon slice) per translation gives the cleanest bubbles.
Japanese → English is pre-set
The page defaults to ja → en for manga raws; switch source/target if you are reading manhwa or manhua.
Read & save
Get the translated page with bubbles and SFX in place — download it and continue with the next page.
Built for real-world images
Layout-Preserving Translation
Text is rewritten in place — fonts, colors, positions and the original background are kept. The output looks like it was never translated.
